DIY with Hudson - Body

Whiteboard Vinyl

Instead of using the table top to place paper on for drawing, why not turn the entire surface into a whiteboard! Simply apply some whiteboard vinyl over the wood table top surface and you now have a glossy, white space that can be scribbled on to your hearts (I mean your child’s hearts) content. And the best thing is, you can simply wipe it away and start again. Jordy May Design (pictured above) sourced her whiteboard vinyl from Vinyl Home.

Magnetic Blackboard Paint

Similar to the whiteboard, a simple application of some magnetic blackboard paint, and not only can you scribble messages to your child, they can spend hours of fun arranging magnets along the surface. Grab a set of word magnets, and you have another tool for your child to learn their letters – and maybe they might craft a table top story just for you!

Decoupage

Grab your paper and scissors and try some decoupage on the Hudson Mini Table and Chairs. A quick search will give you loads of great examples. Add a worldly touch with old maps and blueprints or some superhero action with comic books and cartoons. Not only is this a great way to add interest and colour to a room, the surface is wonderfully hard-wearing.

Paint

A very simple way to hack the Hudson range is to get a paint brush and add paint. Colour the stool seats and table tops in white for a lovely Scandi look or go bold with bright colours or pretty pastels. This is the perfect way to tie in the colour theme throughout a room.
