NZ Safety Standard As per AS/NZS 2172:2003 the distance between the rails/ slats on our cots meet the minimum requirement of 50mm
Special Notes This cot had been manufactured for use with a mattress which measures 130cm long x 69cm wide and 10cm thick. The width and length are specific as it’s important the gaps between the mattress, sides and ends of the cot will not exceed 4cm.
Special Notes The thickness of the mattress has been specified to ensure that when the mattress is in place and the cot base is in the lower position, that the depth of the cot is no less than 50cm to minimise the risk of a child climbing or falling out of the cot
Special Notes To prevent falls, the mattress base of this cot should be adjusted to the lowest position before the child can sit up.
Special Notes If ordering the Vale Cot Mattress, please note, this mattress has been vacuum packed by specialised machinery. Once opened, the mattress expands and cannot be put back into its original packaging. For this reason it cannot be returned.
