INACCURATE INSTRUCTIONS, POOR CONSTRUCTION
"I was looking forward to assembling the Cove Three Drawer Unit, but the experience has been disappointing from the beginning. The assembly instructions are entirely visual with no written guidance, and the illustrations are unclear and inconsistent with the physical parts. Critical pilot holes for the side rails were completely missing from Panel 4, and because the instructions provide no precise measurements or written steps, the only way to assemble the drawers is through guesswork. You essentially have to attach the rails, realise the drawers don’t align, dismantle the unit, and then attempt to re-drill in a different position. It’s unreasonable to expect customers to repeatedly trial-and-error drill into their furniture just to make it function correctly. The customer service response did not inspire confidence. Despite providing photos and detailed explanations, it was clear my concerns weren’t properly reviewed. The missing pilot holes were visible in the images I sent, yet this was overlooked entirely. There were also issues with delivery. One of the boxes was confirmed by the courier (Allied Express) as having been lost in their warehouse before eventually being located and delivered days later. While it did arrive in the end, it added unnecessary delay. Finally, the unit arrived with superficial paint damage on Panel 4, which shouldn’t happen with a brand-new item. Overall, between the missing pilot holes, unclear instructions, insufficient customer service support, delivery problems and the damaged panel, this has not been a good experience. I would not recommend this product unless the instructions and quality control processes are significantly improved."
